The SAUT – Arusha campus has a story. It is a story of growth and commitment to education. Imagine back to 2013. That’s when the Saint Augustine University of Tanzania established this center. The vision was clear: holistic development for every student. The Tanzania Episcopal Conference owns and manages SAUT. This ensures a strong foundation of values.

Look around. You’ll see that SAUT Arusha is near Ngarenaro Parish. Locals often call it Kwa Fr. Babu. The famous Kilombero market is also close by. This central location makes SAUT accessible. Students arrive by bus, motorcycle, or even on foot.

SAUT Arusha started small but dreamed big. The main campus is in Mwanza. The goal was to expand across the country. Archbishop Josaphat Louis Lebulu played a key role. He wanted to bring higher education to more Tanzanians.

Initially, the SAUT Arusha Campus occupied the former Saint Joseph Girls High School. Saint Joseph Girls High School moved to Kisongo. The Catholic Archdiocese purchased a new location for them along Dodoma Road.

SAUT Arusha offers a range of programs. You can study for certificates in Law, Business Administration, and Accountancy. Diploma programs are also available in those fields. Bachelor’s degrees include Tourism and Hospitality Management and Arts with Education. For those seeking advanced studies, there’s a Master of Education Management program.
