From humble beginnings, Satsang Guru Nanak Darbar emerged as a beacon of faith. It started in 1969 under the supervision of Sumair Shah Singh. People called him Shahji. His devotion guided the Gurdwara’s development.

Initially, Satsang Guru Nanak Darbar operated from J-3B, Lajpat Nagar-2. Later, it moved to I-11, Lajpat Nagar-3. The building was completed in 1980. It was then opened for Gurdwara Sahib use.
