Sarasas Witaed Nimitmai School is located in Thailand. It is the 12th school in the Sarasas-affiliated school group. Mr Piboon and Mrs Pen Sri Yongkamol founded it. The school’s construction began in October 1996. It finished in May 1997.
Initially the school building was 72-meters long. In 1999 six floors were added. Later the area expanded to 8 rai 378 square wah. This allowed for a swimming pool. Indoor parking a canteen and the second school building were constructed in 2006. The school expanded the area in front of the first building as a pond. They constructed the third building a football field and an outdoor car park. This met the growing number of students and staff. Today the school has a total area of 13 rai 1 ngan 26 square meters.
Sarasas Witaed Nimitmai School is the third Sarasas school to offer a Bilingual Program. This program includes English mathematics life experience music and computing. They use English teaching materials. The school also recruits foreign teachers. This is based on the Ministry of Education curriculum. The curriculum focuses on children as the center of learning. Coupled with Thai the program offers courses in IEP for Kindergarten 3 and grades 1 to 6. This expands student capabilities.
Since 1996 Sarasas Witaed Nimitmai School has experimented with bilingual teaching. This began in Sarasas Prachauthitpittayakhan School from Kindergarten 3 to grade 2. Three classrooms for 90 students were built at Sarasas Witaed School. This allowed new students to join. In 1997 the school had 469 students in the bilingual department. There were 360 people in the general department. This totaled 829 people with 35 Thai teachers and 12 foreign teachers.
Building 1 was built in 1997. It is a 6-story concrete building. Currently it is used for grades 1 to 5. It houses a computer room a classroom keyboard a drum set classroom and a Thai music classroom. Also a guitar classroom a screening room a laboratory and a library are located here. You can also find the director’s and management’s room the hospital room the cafeteria and a meeting hall on the sixth floor.
Building 2 was completed in 2000. This is a 5-story concrete building. Currently it is used for Kindergarten grades 1 to 3. Some halls dining rooms teachers rooms laboratories and cooking rooms are here. On the fifth floor is a large meeting room. It spans the length of the school building. It is used for storing things and organizing activities at Sarasas Witaed Nimitmai School.
Mr Piboon Yongkamol was principal in 2540. Mr Jaroon Katiyasarn was principal from 2540 to 2542. Mrs Suwanit Yongkamol was principal from 1999 to 2008. She then became the Director of Sarasas District 3 Khor. Mrs Sasitorn Hongschuwech was principal in 2008. Mrs Srikuraporn Sub-Anekyot was principal in 2009. Mrs Warisanan Dejpanprasong served as Director from 2010 to the present.
Today Sarasas Witaed Nimitmai School has 179 Thai teachers and 53 foreign teachers. There are 3190 students.
