Here stands the Sanhe City Commerce Bureau a key player in the region’s economic landscape. It operates within Sanhe. This is a county-level city administered by Langfang. Langfang is a prefecture-level city in eastern Hebei province. Sanhe has a population of around one million people.

Sanhe City itself is part of an interesting trio. It forms the “Northern Three Counties of Langfang” with Dachang Hui Autonomous County and Xianghe County. This area is an exclave of Hebei province. Beijing and Tianjin municipalities surround it.

Sanhe’s climate features distinct seasons. January temperatures average below freezing. Summers are hot with temperatures sometimes exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. Average precipitation is nearly 600 mm per year.

Transportation is well-developed in Sanhe. Expressways like the G0121 Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway pass through the city. National Highway 102 also serves the area. Several provincial highways including S204 connect Sanhe to surrounding regions.

Railways also play a vital role. The Beijing-Qinhuangdao railway runs through Sanhe. The Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway is under construction. The Beijing-Binhai intercity railway is also being built. Furthermore, the Pinggu line of Beijing Subway is planned to have five stations in Sanhe.

Historically, Sanhe suffered significant damage. A major earthquake virtually destroyed it on September 2, 1679. More recently, in 2013, an ARD film crew was attacked while filming in Sanhe. This incident involved intimidation and violence. It drew international attention.

Today, Sanhe City Commerce Bureau is vital. It helps to foster economic growth. It also promotes stability in this unique part of Hebei. It links the province to Beijing and Tianjin. It also helps to ensure Sanhe’s continued development.
