Lost in the heart of Gangnam District is Samseong-dong. It is more than just a neighborhood. It’s a vibrant tapestry of culture, commerce, and history.

It merged with Sudo-dong in 1963. It was renamed Cheongdam-dong in 1970. Finally, in 1977, Samseong-dong emerged as its own entity. It further divided into Samseong-1-dong and Samseong-2-dong in 1985.

Education thrives in Samseong-dong. Prestigious schools dot the landscape. Gyeonggi High School stands to the north of COEX. The surrounding area is known for its expensive houses and villas.
