The leadership of the Samoa Assemblies of God has seen many changes. Pastor Max Haleck Jr. of American Samoa led from 1976 until his death in 2006. Rev Samani Pulepule then took the reins. His son Pastor Onesemo Pulepule later became his successor. In 2014 Rev Siaosi Mageo from American Samoa was elected Chairman. Reverend Joe Amosa succeeded him.
