Within the Sammlungszentrum Landeshauptstadt Hannover walls, a vast collection awaits. It spans 20600 square meters. The Sammlungszentrum Landeshauptstadt Hannover will house the Stadtarchiv Hannover. It also holds the central repository for the city’s art and cultural institutions. These include the Historisches Museum Hannover and the Sprengel Museum.
Imagine documents, objects, books, coins, furniture, vehicles, sculptures, paintings all finding a home here. The Stadtarchiv Hannover will occupy ten regal kilometers. The museums need seven for over one million items. A reading room, offices, and restoration workshops supplement the storage.
