From June 30 2008 Samgaksan-dong exists. This Seoul neighborhood in Gangbuk District has a fascinating history. Before that date Mia-6 and Mia-7 dongs were separate. They merged to form Samgaksan-dong. This brought together distinct communities. Each had its own character and traditions.
