Hidden within the vibrant neighborhood of Eidelstedt, the SameSame-Galerie awaits. It’s not your typical art gallery. The SameSame-Galerie was born from artist René Scheer’s dream. He envisioned a space where artists could connect, converse, and showcase their work off the beaten path. The gallery’s name, SameSame, reflects its unique concept. Two artists explore a shared idea, material, or theme, not in competition, but in a harmonious dialogue. Their differences and unique artistic voices enrich the conversation. The SameSame-Galerie isn’t just about the art displayed; it’s about the artists themselves and the connections they forge. In November 2021, the gallery launched with “Same-Same N°1 – Typo,” featuring Lisa Golze’s typewriter poetry and Dirk Bathen’s blackout poetry. The exhibition was a resounding success, breathing life into Eidelstedt’s burgeoning art scene. The gallery continued to evolve. “Same-Same N°2 – Express” brought together Clea Rojas’s provocative works and Uli Pforr’s intuitive blend of color and line. “Same-Same N°3 – Unterm Messer” explored the love of paper shared by Tanja Soler Zang and René Scheer, expressed through intricate cuts and voids. “Ungeortet” featured Stefanie Rausch and Sven Scharfenberg’s explorations of urban landscapes. Each exhibition at the SameSame-Galerie offers a unique experience. It’s a place where artistic dialogues unfold, and the community gathers.
