A record-breaking pour. That’s how Sama Tower began. Ten thousand five hundred cubic meters of concrete. Poured in just two days. A new construction record. Right here before you stands Sama Tower a testament to ambitious engineering.

This magnificent skyscraper on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai boasts 49 floors. Originally envisioned as a much taller twisting tower Al Durrah Tower II. It was planned to be a supertall structure with over 75 stories. The Dubai Department of Civil Aviation however had concerns about its initial height. This led to a scaled-down design. The final Sama Tower stands proudly at 194 meters. A different kind of impressive.

Sama Tower’s construction started in 2006. It was completed in late 2009. The Al Hamid Group owns this residential skyscraper. Designed by WS Atkins & Partners Sama Tower is a striking example of modern architecture in Dubai. It blends seamlessly into the city’s impressive skyline.
