Five hundred strong and still growing That’s the Saiwara Seventh-day Adventist Church for you. Right here before us stands a testament to faith perseverance and community. Established in 2004 this church initially operated under the Gordon SDA church’s guidance. For thirteen years it served its community quietly growing in faith and numbers. Then in 2017 a momentous occasion occurred. The Saiwara Seventh-day Adventist Church achieved its independent status.
This wasn’t just a change in administration it was a symbol of the community’s maturation. It marked a significant step towards self-sufficiency and empowered local leadership. The six founding members had laid the groundwork for an incredible journey. Their foresight and dedication bore fruit. Now the church boasts five hundred members. That’s five hundred souls united by a common faith.
But the Saiwara Seventh-day Adventist Church is more than just a place of worship. It’s a vibrant hub of activity. The building itself has expanded multiple times accommodating the burgeoning congregation. Its expansion reflects not only its growing membership but its commitment to its community. The church’s leadership has ambitious plans. They envision establishing a primary school and a health clinic right here on its grounds. This will provide essential services directly to its members and the wider ATS community. Imagine the impact. Children won’t need to travel far for their education. Residents will have easier access to healthcare.
These initiatives demonstrate the church’s dedication to holistic growth. Spiritual well-being is just one aspect. It prioritizes the physical educational and social well-being of everyone. This commitment stems from a strong belief in service. It’s about being more than a congregation. It’s about being a pillar of strength for the entire community. The only current hurdle they are facing is the land title acquisition. Once obtained these expansion plans will fully come to fruition.
