Founded in 1946 Saint Francis High School has a rich story. It stands as a testament to Catholic education. The Capuchin Franciscans established this institution. They aimed to create a nurturing environment for young men.

Athletics are an integral part of Saint Francis High School. The Golden Knights compete in the Mission League. This is a part of the CIF Southern Section. The school colors are brown and gold. Varsity sports include baseball and basketball. Cross country and football are also offered. Students can participate in golf and lacrosse. Soccer swimming and tennis are available too. Track and field volleyball and water polo round out the options. The school won CIF Champions in football in 1982. The basketball team were Southern California State Champions in 2020. The lacrosse team won CIF Champions in 2021.
