One vision in 1830 led to the creation of the Miraculous Medal. This medal, depicting Mary with outstretched hands emanating rays of grace, can be seen prominently displayed within Saint Catherine Labourne Catholic Church. The medal’s inscription carries a powerful prayer, “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” The saint’s life ended in 1876, but her story continued.
