Did you know that Royal House Chapel International started in a small nursery school? Right here in Cape Coast Ghana’s vibrant heart stands a testament to faith’s incredible journey. It began humbly in 1991 as the International Bible Worship Centre. A small group of twelve adults and five children met in a small GES Model Nursery School in Accra. This wasn’t Cape Coast but it’s where the seeds of this now extensive church were sown.

Royal House Chapel International wasn’t always so grand. Its founder Most Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah had a life-changing experience in Holland. He felt a divine call to return to Ghana to establish a ministry. After much prayer he obeyed the call. He returned to Ghana in 1992.

The church initially operated under different names. Abundant Life Missions International was the first name. Then it became the Bible Worship Centre. Finally in 1999 it was renamed Royal House Chapel International. Reflecting its global vision the name change signified significant growth.

The Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah’s leadership was instrumental. His dedication attracted many followers. The church’s growth necessitated multiple moves. They moved from the nursery school to the Agricultural Development Bank canteen. Soon the canteen was too small. The church then relocated to the Blackmoore and Sons warehouse. This warehouse became a place of healing miracles and deliverance.

In 2000 the church made a symbolic move. Thousands marched to Ahenfie their new property near Obetsebi Lamptey Circle. They saw this relocation as a passage from Egypt to the Promised Land. Ahenfie became a place of prophecy and promise.

Today Royal House Chapel International continues its growth. It has numerous local assemblies throughout Ghana and abroad. The church is a beacon of hope faith and community. It serves as a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication. This grand structure before us in Cape Coast represents a powerful legacy of faith. It’s a place where countless lives have been transformed and the spirit of God remains alive and well.
