It’s a remarkable rock garden, a Category B listed structure. This grotto wasn’t always a public space. The land was acquired by Glasgow Corporation in 1948. Initially, the mansion and gardens were leased to a catering school. The grotto is a product of the renowned Pulham & Sons. Their work here stands as the finest example of such artistry in all of Scotland. The park itself offers a diverse experience despite its relatively small size.
