Established in 1957 Rolling Hills Covenant Church dedicated its first building in 1959. This wasn’t just any church. It became a spiritual center for the community. Its congregation grew steadily throughout the 60s and 70s. This growth led to the addition of a worship center.
The 1980s saw Rolling Hills Covenant Church embrace the arts. Music became a key part of their services. They aimed for musical excellence. This meant they needed top-quality audio.
Recently Rolling Hills Covenant Church remodeled. They updated seating and the stage layout. This major renovation included a new sound system. The goal was superior sound quality. They wanted sound that matched their high standards.
Brian Johnson the church’s director of Technical Arts Ministries oversaw the project. He worked with Scott Ramsey of Broadcast Support. Broadcast Support is a local AV installation specialist. They had a long-standing relationship.
They chose a CODA Audio system. It was a compact N-RAY line array. This system ensured smooth coverage throughout the large auditorium. It seats about 950 people. The system had to be lightweight enough for the ceiling. It also needed premium sound.
The installation was a success. The sound quality is now superb. The coverage is even throughout the space. The church members are delighted with the improvement.
