This impressive facility boasts a main pool 21 meters by 50 meters. Imagine the sheer size of this pool. Deep enough for serious laps. Then there’s an attractions pool. Perfect for some playful splashing around. There are also smaller pools designed especially for children.

The building itself is quite something. It has a ground floor foyer. This is where you’ll find the ticket office the restaurant and the administration areas. There are also changing rooms and sanitary facilities. Then there’s the lower ground floor. It houses a solarium a fitness area more changing rooms and the sauna. Finally the upper floor boasts a grandstand for 400 spectators. It sits four meters above the water level.

The Roland Matthes Schwimmhalle has a fascinating detail many might not know. It has sufficient space for gatherings. There is even a seminar room approximately 70 square meters. The Sudpool restaurant inside even offers catering. It services both the swimming area and the foyer.

Outside the building you’ll find even more to explore. There are two more pools outside. A children’s playground a lawn for sunbathing a slide and even an outdoor blockhouse sauna.
