Abandoned since 2015, Robsonhill Residency stands before you as a ghost of a dream. Initially envisioned as a luxurious serviced apartment complex, it was meant to rival Beverly Hills. Robsonhill Residency was to be a symbol of upscale living, located on elevated land in the prestigious Seputeh area. The project comprised two 31-story towers housing a total of 404 units, nestled between Mid Valley City and KL Sentral. The developer, Instant Bonus Development Sdn Bhd, aimed high. The director, interestingly enough, was also the director of Star Planet, a well-known concert organizer. This connection fueled rumors of celebrity bookings even before the official launch. However, construction, estimated at RM 120 million, faced hurdles. By October 2016, only the basement and CBP wall were completed. The target handover date of November 2018 came and went. Now, Robsonhill Residency remains unfinished, a stark reminder of unrealized ambition. The projected GDV of RM 555 million now seems a distant echo. Even the planned incorporation of seismic design, a testament to intended luxury and comfort, serves only as a poignant reminder of what could have been.
