Ridgewood Pentecostal Church

In 1928, the Ridgewood Pentecostal Church acquired a magnificent edifice. It was originally built for the Wyckoff Heights Presbyterian Church. Now, the Ridgewood Pentecostal Church stands on Harman Street, a beacon of faith in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. This church has a rich history. It has served the community for almost a century. Today, it thrives as a multi-generational community of believers. The Ridgewood Pentecostal Church embraces its history. The church also looks towards the future. It warmly welcomes newcomers to join its vibrant congregation both in person and online. The church’s website invites visitors to experience their services. Sunday morning services begin at 10:00 AM, offering a blend of worship and Sunday school. Evening services take place on Sundays at 6:00 PM. Additional prayer meetings occur on Monday and Friday evenings at 8:00 PM. Wednesday mornings offer a mid-week service at 10:30 AM. Many of these services are also accessible online via Zoom and Vimeo, connecting the congregation beyond the physical walls of the church. Ridgewood Pentecostal Church celebrated a significant milestone. The church commemorated fifty years of service in a publication titled “Ridgewood Pentecostal Church 1925-1975”. This publication pays tribute to God’s blessings and the unwavering faithfulness of the church community. A unique feature of the Ridgewood Pentecostal Church is its historic pipe organ. Originally installed in 1928, the M. P. Möller, Inc. organ (Opus 5387) continues to fill the sanctuary with its rich tones. This electro-pneumatic action organ boasts two manuals, eleven stops, and eight ranks. It stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of music in worship at the Ridgewood Pentecostal Church.
