Rhema Church’s story began in September 1989. Reverend Mable E. Allen founded it. She built it on the Word of God. Prayer, worship, and praise were her guiding principles.
Reverend Allen’s journey is remarkable. Saved in 1978, she sought deeper knowledge. She attended Greater Grace Temple under Bishop David L. Ellis. Bishop Thomas Butler of the Word of Truth Temple mentored her later. In 1988, he gave her religious instruction. He ordained her as a pastor. The Pentecostal Apostolic Missionary Expedition Fellowship granted her a license.

History was made on July 22, 2022. Archbishop William Hudson, III, led the ceremony. Reverend Allen became a Bishop in Pilgrim Assemblies International. She was among the first women consecrated. Bishop Allen serves as Bishop of Intercession now. She is also Michigan Regional Prelate. She is also on the Executive Board of Pilgrim Assemblies International.
