Doesn’t the name Resurrection Ministries International Deliverance Church just stir something within you? It should. The name is its mission. Resurrection Ministries International seeks to bring hope to the hopeless. It brings life to lifeless spirits. It offers healing to wounded souls.
Resurrection Ministries International’s mission is inspired by Luke 4:18. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted. I will preach deliverance to the captives. I will help the blind to recover their sight. I will set at liberty those who are bruised.”
Resurrection Ministries International believes in the Bible. It considers it the infallible Word of the Living God. The church believes in the Trinity. It believes in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. These three are one.
Resurrection Ministries International believes in Jesus. It believes in His immaculate conception and birth. They believe in His life and death. The church believes in His burial and resurrection. Resurrection Ministries International believes that all are inherently sinners. Sinners are lost and separated from God. The church believes that salvation is possible through Jesus Christ. They believe that miracles still happen. Resurrection Ministries International believes Jesus is alive. It sees its purpose to continue the works of Jesus Christ.
Resurrection Ministries International deems it reasonable to obey Jesus’ commandments. It seeks to fulfill the great commission. The church loves the Lord with all its heart. It loves its neighbor as itself.
According to Mark 16:15-18, believers should go into all the world. They should preach the gospel to every creature. Those who believe and are baptized will be saved. Those who do not believe will be damned. Believers will be followed by signs. In Jesus’ name, they will cast out devils. They will speak with new tongues. Believers can take up serpents. If they drink deadly things, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick. The sick will recover.
Resurrection Ministries International wants to take God’s love to the entire world. They want to reach as many parts of it as God allows. They will love others without bias. The church will demonstrate the love of Jesus to as many as the Lord allows. Resurrection Ministries International strives to aid and assist as many people as possible. It aims to become all things to all people.
Resurrection Ministries International wants to become the arms and hands of Jesus. It wants to be His eyes and mouth. The church wants to be the legs and feet of Jesus. It strives to encourage and assist the downtrodden. It seeks to lift up the underprivileged and the outcast. Resurrection Ministries International supports the unwanted and the vagabonds. The church reaches out to the blind, the lame, and the halt. It cares for the hurting and helpless, the hated and despised. They support the rejected and dejected. Wherever they may be, they look for opportunities to love those in need. They may not have everything that others need. But they all need love.
Billy and Mary Williams lead Resurrection Ministries International. They have been married for over 33 years. They are lifelong Christians and native Texans. They have three daughters: Brandy, Kayla, and Shelby.
Billy credits his wife for much of who he is today. He says that behind every good male minister is a good wife. He credits his wife for her love for the Lord. He also acknowledges the call of God that has been placed upon his life. Mary led him to his true salvation and rebirth. He was born again on September 3, 1995.
Through her persistence, Mary led Billy to the house of God. She encouraged him to go to Bible School. Mary encouraged him to take mission trips. She supported him to do street ministry and hospital ministry. She also encouraged him to serve in jail ministry, nursing homes, rehab centers, and halfway houses.
The Williams have been doing the work of the ministry since Billy’s rebirth. Together, they have supported local ministries. They have sent the Gospel nationwide. They have taken it internationally. The Williams have distributed the Gospel worldwide. They continue to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. They will continue as long as they both live and breathe.
