Restoration Road Church began in 2012. Pastor Joie Thomson founded it. He had support from Seven Mile Road Church in Melrose. Fifteen people gathered in a school auditorium. That small group was the start of something big. The church was initially planted as Restoration Road Church.

From the beginning, the mission was clear. Restoration Road Church wanted to help broken people. They wanted to help them find restoration in Jesus. This focus has remained constant throughout their journey.

Over the years, Restoration Road Church has celebrated many milestones. They baptized many new believers. This shows their growing impact. In 2018, they purchased a historic church building. This building is where they worship today. The purchase marked a significant step. It provided a permanent home for the congregation.

Now, Restoration Road Church looks to the future. They plan to plant five new churches. These churches will be across the North Shore of Boston. The vision includes locations in Lynn, Amesbury, Chelsea, Saugus and Salem.

The dream is ambitious. Restoration Road Church wants to fill the North Shore. They envision life-giving Gospel-centered churches. These churches will focus on helping broken people. They will offer restoration in Jesus.
