Nearly 90 years ago a small study group convened. From those humble beginnings, Renaissance Unity emerged. It became an established church at the corner of Coram and Queen in Detroit. The church then moved to various temporary venues including Regina High School. Eventually it became known as the Church of Today. It later transitioned to Renaissance Unity in Warren. After a brief period in Ferndale, Renaissance Unity embraced a robust online presence. It also holds in-person services at the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak.
Renaissance Unity’s journey is one of constant evolution. It has always been pulled forward by a vision. The core beliefs of Renaissance Unity serve as its compass. These beliefs guide its commitment to individual transformation. The church strives to be a beneficial presence through selfless service.
