The church believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit. This guides and comforts believers. People are filled with the Spirit. They speak in other tongues. This began on the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago and continues today. The power and comfort are still available for those seeking God.

Queens Pentecostal Tabernacle has a rich history. Bishop Lincoln Graham Sr. founded the church. He was inspired by Bishop David A. Gallimore. Bishop Graham was baptized by Bishop Henry Lee.
In 1962-1963, he attended Caribbean Bible School. He studied under A.D. and Bessie Varnado. H. Glenn Smith and his wife Rachel also mentored him. In 1963-1969, he pastored in Liberty Hill Jamaica. In 1969, he moved to the United States. From 1969-1974, he worshipped at a church on West 92nd Street in Manhattan. He served as youth director and Sunday School teacher. He also sang in the choir.
In 1974, Pastor Nickerson approved Bishop Graham to start a church. On December 1 1974 Queens Pentecostal Tabernacle was born. It started in a rented storefront on Linden Blvd. In 1975, they bought their first building nearby. From 1980-1985, he served as New York District Sunday School Secretary. From 1985-1987 he was New York Metro District Sunday Director.
In 1990 Queens Pentecostal Tabernacle dedicated a new church. The land was purchased in 1983. From 1992-1994, he served as presbyter of the New York Metro District. From 2000-2006, he was an AIM missionary to Nigeria. He introduced the “Oneness Apostolic Seminar”. Hundreds of ministers were baptized in Jesus’ name. Bishop Graham pioneered one church. He established two new districts.
In 2001, he passed the role of senior pastor to Lincoln A. Graham Jr. This allowed him to focus on missionary work. From 2004-2006 he served as the New York Metro District Foreign Missions Director. In 2004, he took a medical team to Nigeria. They provided basic examinations for many children and adults.
In 2010 Bishop Graham marked 50 years of preaching. In 2014, he went on a mission trip to India. Today he serves as a New York Metro District Presbyter.
Queens Pentecostal Tabernacle is more than a building. It is a place of healing and restoration. Many families have found solace here. They have been delivered and set free.
