Qiaozi sits in southern Huairou. It shares borders with several other towns. These include Bohai to the north and Miaocheng to the east. Beishicao and Xingshou lie to the south. Yanshou and Jiuduhe Towns are to the west.

The administrative structure evolved. From 1961 to 1983, it was known as Chawu People’s Commune. Beizhai People’s Commune also existed during this period. Since 2001, it has been part of Huairou District, Beijing.

Today, Qiaozi administers 25 subdivisions. One is a community. The other 24 are villages.

Consider the names. Chawu Tielu Community stands out. As do Qian Qiaozi and Hou Qiaozi Villages. These names echo through time. They reflect the area’s unique identity.

Imagine walking through Qiaozi. You might see remnants of the Great Wall near Shang Wangyu Village. Perhaps you would pass through the Xia Wangyu Tunnel. The Chawu Apartment buildings add a modern touch. The Beizhai Railway Station connects Qiaozi to the wider world.
