A seed planted in a living room. That’s how the Powerhouse Christian Center began. Powerhouse Christian Center started its life in Clifton, New Jersey. In February 2002, Pastor Samuel Soto and his wife, Pastor Epa Soto, answered a higher calling. They began their ministry in the humble setting of Pastor Sam’s mother’s living room. The Powerhouse Christian Center quickly outgrew its initial space. As the congregation expanded, they moved to various locations. They held services in storefronts, hotel ballrooms, and even other church facilities. Their journey demonstrates the power of faith and community. In September 2006, Powerhouse Christian Center reached a significant milestone. They purchased their own building on Valley Road. This marked a new chapter in their story, providing a permanent home for their growing community of believers. Today, the Powerhouse Christian Center stands as a testament to the Sotos’ vision. It is a vibrant hub for worship and fellowship in Clifton.
