Positive Gospel International Church is part of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council GPCC. The GPCC boasts over two hundred and seventy member churches. Each church is fully engaged. They fulfil the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. The GPCC strives to make a positive impact on Ghanaian society.
The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council promotes unity. It also promotes cooperation among Pentecostal and Charismatic churches across Ghana. They work together for a greater impact.
Apostle Eric Nyamekye is the President of the GPCC. He emphasizes the importance of unity. When Christians unite God prospers them. United they can build His Kingdom.
The GPCC actively engages in nation building. It does so through various initiatives. They see themselves as having a prophetic voice.
The GPCC addresses contemporary issues. Bishop Jackson urges circumspection in social media usage. Rev. Dr. Francis Sey advocates for digital Bible accessibility. These leaders provide guidance for modern challenges.

The Full Gospel Church International FGCI played a key role in Ghana’s charismatic movement. The Very Rev. Emmanuel Ashong Mensah founded it. His perseverance and love for God were vital. He provided a foundation for the charismatic movement.
Mensah was born in Accra on May 7 1928. He came from humble beginnings. He educated himself through basket weaving. Mensah later enrolled in Class One at the Osu Presbyterian Primary School in 1945 aged seventeen.
In 1954 E. A. Mensah committed his life to Jesus. This happened at a T. L. Osborne crusade. He became devoted to God. He also became devoted to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
Mensah started a prayer group. It addressed spiritual needs. His leadership sparked the Holy Spirit’s fire. People sought answers to their problems through him.
Facing opposition Mensah started another prayer group in his home in 1963. This became known as Site 21 Revival. Young Christians flocked there. They wanted to learn to pray.
Bishop Dr. Gordon Kisseih and Pastor Mensa Otabil were impacted by Mensah’s ministry. In 1978 Mensah was ordained. The Full Gospel Evangelistic Ministry FGEM was inaugurated. Mensah became its first pastor.
Ashong Mensah significantly impacted the GPC now GPCC. His contributions were always based on God’s word. He retired in 2000. He handed leadership to his son Samuel Noi Mensah.
Ashong Mensah pioneered the charismatic movement in Ghana. Duncan-Williams was spiritually trained by him. Mensah’s legacy lives on through those he mentored.
