This river, my friends, is no ordinary waterway. It carves its path from the majestic Farallones de Cali, a towering backdrop to this vibrant city, flowing over 50 kilometers before it finally meets the Cauca River. For centuries, the Cali River has been more than just a geographical feature. It has shaped the city’s growth, nurtured its people, and even witnessed periods of both darkness and rebirth. You see, Cali’s story, much like the Plta Rio Cali. San Fernando itself, is one of resilience and transformation. And as we stand here, on the banks of this enduring river, we’re reminded that Cali, just like the Cali River, continues to flow, to adapt, and to captivate all who encounter its unique charm.
