Until recently, a Zeiss UPP 23/5 projector, with its 119 individual projectors, brought this celestial spectacle to life. In 2021, the Planetarium underwent a significant upgrade. Eight cutting-edge Barco projectors now illuminate the dome. These projectors, combined with SkyExplorer 2021 software, provide a truly immersive cosmic experience at the Brussels Planetarium. The Planetarium also features interactive exhibits. You can virtually travel through space. Explore Mars, glide through Saturn’s rings, or journey through the Milky Way.
