Transformed from sacred space to modern living, Place Delacroix holds a unique story. This is no ordinary condo complex. It’s a tale of preservation, innovation, and community.

Place Delacroix stands in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie neighborhood. It occupies the site of the former Saint-Jean-de-la-Croix church. The church and its presbytery have undergone a remarkable transformation. The church now houses residential condos. The presbytery serves as a community building.

In 2002, a vision was realized. Alex & Rafaelle Construction faced a significant challenge. How could they repurpose a church while honoring its history? Their innovative goal was to preserve the social role of the adjacent building. Local community groups were given the opportunity to acquire the presbytery at an accessible price.

Today, the Saint-Jean-de-la-Croix presbytery thrives. It now houses the Family Centre of La Petite-Patrie. Three community organizations have called it home since 2002. This ensures the building continues to serve the neighborhood.

Place Delacroix itself features 70 units. These range from studios to 3-bedroom condos. Two levels of parking are available for residents. The building stands at the crossroads of Shamrock Avenue and Saint-Laurent Boulevard. Its location offers an urban lifestyle with a touch of tranquility.

Living here means convenience. Shops, parks, and public transport are all close. Parc Jarry is only 13 minutes away on foot. Parc Soeur-Madeleine-Gagnon is even closer. Beaubien and De Castelnau metro stations are within a 10-minute walk. Access to Autoroute 40 is easy.

The condos are designed with care. Modern, functional spaces cater to contemporary living. The exterior of Place Delacroix is striking. It preserves the architectural past of the neighborhood. Inside, the spaces are majestic. High ceilings echo the forms of the former religious building.
