Founded in 1875 in Smyrna Pierce College boasts a legacy spanning nearly 150 years. Its original location was far from its current Athenian home. The college faced adversity. The Asia Minor Catastrophe forced its relocation to Athens in 1923. This was at the invitation of Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos.
