Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n is located in the south of Bi\u00ean H\u00f2a city. It shares borders with several areas. To the east are Giang \u0110i\u1ec1n commune and Tam Ph\u01b0\u1edbc ward. To the west are Long H\u01b0ng commune, An H\u00f2a ward and Long B\u00ecnh T\u00e2n ward. Tam Ph\u01b0\u1edbc ward lies to the south. H\u1ed1 Nai 3 commune, B\u1eafc S\u01a1n, B\u00ecnh Minh commune and Long B\u00ecnh ward are to the north.
In 2018, Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n had a population of 52,602. The ward covers an area of 42.7 km2. That is a population density of 1,618 people per square kilometer. Qu\u1ed1c l\u1ed9 51 passes through the ward.
Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n was once a commune in Long Th\u00e0nh district. On February 5, 2010, it became part of Bi\u00ean H\u00f2a city. This change was per the government’s Resolution 05/NQ-CP.
On May 10, 2019, Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n became a ward. This was under Resolution 694/NQ-UBTVQH14 of the National Assembly Standing Committee. The resolution took effect on July 1, 2019. The new ward was formed from the entire area and population of Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n commune. Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n is divided into eight residential areas. These are \u0110\u1ed3ng, H\u01b0\u01a1ng Ph\u01b0\u1edbc and Mi\u1ec5u. Others include R\u1ea1ch Chi\u1ebfc, T\u00e2n Cang, T\u00e2n L\u1eadp, T\u00e2n Mai and V\u01b0\u1eddn D\u1eeba.
On November 6, 2006, new hamlets were created. V\u01b0\u1eddn D\u1eeba and H\u01b0\u01a1ng Ph\u01b0\u1edbc hamlets were formed from \u1ea5p \u0110\u1ed3ng. T\u00e2n L\u1eadp hamlet was created from part of T\u00e2n Cang hamlet.
A recent incident occurred on V\u00f5 Nguy\u00ean Gi\u00e1p street in Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n. On February 17, 2024, a man was found dead on the sidewalk. Police are looking for the vehicle involved in the traffic accident. The incident happened on the sidewalk of Km1859 + 950 V\u00f5 Nguy\u00ean Gi\u00e1p street. This location is in group 47, V\u01b0\u1eddn D\u1eeba area, Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n ward.
Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n is also part of a resettlement project. This is due to the Bi\u00ean H\u00f2a – V\u0169ng T\u00e0u expressway. A 49-hectare resettlement area in Ph\u01b0\u1edbc T\u00e2n will provide 1,100 plots. These plots are for people affected by the expressway and other key projects. Construction of infrastructure is expected to start in June. By the first quarter of 2026, basic technical infrastructure should be complete. Land will then be ready for people to build houses.
