“The air hums with a different energy here, doesn’t it?” chuckled an old woman, her eyes crinkling with a smile. Phường Khánh Bình, once a quiet village on the outskirts, now finds itself at the heart of Tân Uyên City. You can practically feel the pulse of the city. Yet, traces of its peaceful past linger in the air. Phường Khánh Bình wasn’t always part of the city. For years, it was a humble village belonging to Tân Uyên district. It remained so until 2004, when a government decree redrew the map. A large portion of Phường Khánh Bình, along with a part of neighboring Tân Hiệp, was carved out to form a new town. This left Phường Khánh Bình with a smaller footprint but a strong sense of identity. Then, in 2013, another wave of change swept through. A government decree merged several districts and towns to create what we now know as Tân Uyên City. Phường Khánh Bình, with its strategic location and resilient spirit, was officially absorbed into this rapidly growing urban area.
