From a humble rural commune to a thriving ward. That’s the story of Phuong Hoi Nghia. This vibrant ward in Tan Uyen town Binh Duong province has a rich history. It wasn’t always a bustling urban area. Once a small rural commune. Hoi Nghia’s transformation began in 1979. It officially became a commune on April 25th. Back then it was part of Tan Uyen district’s new economic zone.
Life was different then. The population was much smaller only 4074 people in 1999. Imagine a slower pace of life. Fields stretching out to the horizon. A far cry from the bustling streets we see today. The area covered 17.34 square kilometers. The population density was a mere 235 people per square kilometer.
A major shift occurred on December 29th 2013. Hoi Nghia transitioned from a rural commune. It became part of the newly established Tan Uyen town. This marked a turning point. The ward began its impressive journey of development.
The official establishment of Phuong Hoi Nghia as a ward happened on February 1st 2020. This was solidified by Resolution 857. This resolution encompassed a total area of 17.26 square kilometers. It included a population of 39638 people. The ward now boasts a density of 2599 people per square kilometer.
Phuong Hoi Nghia is divided into seven subdivisions. These are numbered 1 through 5. There are also two rubber plantation areas. The ward continues to grow and evolve. New infrastructure projects are constantly underway. These include road improvements and drainage systems. These are transforming the landscape and the quality of life for residents.
Hoi Nghia 09 road in subdivision 1 is a prime example. It’s the ward’s first model road. It showcases the ward’s commitment to progress. The road’s upgrade is a testament to community involvement. Residents contributed financially. They helped create a modern well-lit street with security cameras.
This wasn’t just about asphalt. It’s about community pride. Mr Pham Ngu Hoi Bao a long-time resident spoke about the transformation. He’s proud of the improvements. The once dilapidated road has been reborn. The changes are dramatic. He now enjoys a safe well-lit environment.
The developments are not just cosmetic. They aim to boost the local economy. Projects like DH423 and DT746 further improve connectivity. These contribute to a more vibrant and prosperous future. By 2023 the goal is to upgrade 65 roads. This ambitious plan shows the determination of Phuong Hoi Nghia. Its growth is a testament to its residents and their dedication to building a better tomorrow.
