Here at Petite Île, can you feel the energy? It is a place where adventure meets community. Petite Île is not just a climbing gym. It is a hub for climbers of all levels.

Petite Île is open every day of the year. This includes public holidays and school holidays. The exceptions are Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. But on December 24 and 31, it opens from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Are you curious about the history of this place? Petite Île celebrated its 6th anniversary in November 2019. The celebration included a fun competition and a tombola. There was even a drag show and dance party.

Petite Île is located at Rue de la Petite-Île 1A, 1070 Anderlecht, Brussels. It is one kilometer from Gare du Midi. Be ready to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor. The view is your reward.

Getting here is easy. You can park your bike on the sidewalk or the 3rd floor. Use a U-shaped lock and remove the saddle. Several public transport options are available. Anderlecht Grondel bus stop is 700 meters away. Gare du Midi train station is one kilometer away.

Driving? Use Rue de la Petite-Île 1A, 1070 Anderlecht for navigation. Park on Rue des Deux Gares.

Do you need climbing shoes? You can rent them for 3 euros. Locks for lockers are available for rent too. They cost 0.50 euros and require an ID.

Liquid chalk is a must. Powder chalk is not allowed for health reasons. Liquid chalk is available for purchase in the café.

Forgot something? Petite Île keeps lost items for one week. After that, clothes go to Petits Riens. Climbing shoes go to a climbing association abroad. Email lostandfound@petite-ile.be with a description of your lost item.

Petite Île also organizes courses for children and schools. These are run by Midi Ecole d’escalade asbl.

Keep an eye out for route setting days. These happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. During these times, some zones are closed. Petite Île changes each zone every four weeks. Usually, only 20% of the space is inaccessible.

Note that new bridges will be built near Petite Île. This will improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. The area around the bridges will also be improved.
