Can you feel the energy emanating from Pathway Community Church? It’s almost palpable here in Santee. Pathway Community Church isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant hub of faith and community. It’s a place where lives are transformed and relationships forged. Pathway Community Church’s mission is simple yet profound: to urgently lead people to know Jesus and passionately follow him. Pastor Phil Herrington pours his heart into his sermons, spending 8-12 hours a week crafting messages that resonate with the congregation. He strives to make them biblical, interesting, and relevant to people’s lives. His favorite topic? Grace. He believes it’s a powerful message for our times, a time of division and confusion. He sees grace and mercy, coupled with truth, as essential for healing and connection. Pathway Community Church has a set of core values, seven “heart attitudes,” that guide their community. They prioritize the needs of others, live openly and honestly, offer and accept correction, seek forgiveness, actively participate in ministry, support the church financially, and follow spiritual leadership. They strive for authentic relationships, life transformation, outward focus, and empowerment, all centered around a lifestyle of worship. The church also recognizes the importance of technology in staying connected. With the Pathways App, powered by Elvanto, members can access their church community anytime, anywhere. They can manage groups, register for events, and stay up-to-date with the church calendar. This blend of traditional values and modern technology allows Pathway Community Church to reach a wider audience and foster a deeper sense of belonging.
