Towering above the lush green landscape of Puerto Varas, the Parroquia Santa Rosa de Lima stands as a beacon of faith and history. This Catholic church, nestled on Otto Klein Street, has been a spiritual haven for generations in Nueva Braunau. Construction began in 1895, initially as a small chapel dedicated to Santa Rosa de Lima. Over time, as the community grew, so did the need for a larger place of worship. Finally, in 1967, the current church was built, replacing the original chapel. The architect, Luis Cárdenas, generously offered his services without any charge. He took inspiration for the design from other churches located in Entre Lagos, showcasing a unique blend of styles. The inauguration was a momentous event, filled with religious leaders and the community, celebrating a new era of devotion and togetherness.
