Picture the humble beginnings. A simple tin roof over four poles. That was the Parroquia de Cristo Resucitado in 1995. Can you imagine? This now magnificent church started so small.
The Parroquia de Cristo Resucitado isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to faith and community. It’s a story of growth both physical and spiritual. The first column was raised on July 15 2000. Monsignor Jorge Bernal blessed the occasion. Father Fernando Rodriguez served as parish priest.
Since then the church has flourished. Forty-two groups and organizations now call it home. They support children families prisoners the sick the hungry and the abandoned. The church provides a vital network of support for the community. Its impact extends far beyond its walls.
The heart of the Parroquia de Cristo Resucitado beats in the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. This is where the community finds strength and nourishment. It’s a place of quiet reflection and fervent prayer. It’s also a source of strength for the parish’s numerous outreach programs.
