Parkway Fellowship first opened at Cinco Ranch High School in February 2003. In 2010, it moved to its first permanent location in Richmond. It sits on 66 acres at the corner of FM 1093 and FM 359. In 2014, Parkway Fellowship opened its second location north of I-10 in Katy.
Parkway Fellowship has been listed in the top 100 fastest-growing churches in the nation. It earned this recognition for five of the last 13 years. In 2022, the average weekly attendance exceeded 3,200 people.
Mike McGown is the senior pastor. He says they don’t celebrate what they’ve done, but what God has done. Thousands of people have been served and positively impacted since Parkway Fellowship began. He believes there are thousands more they want to reach in the surrounding Katy community.
Over the last two decades, congregants have donated over $3 million. This money helps people, causes, and organizations in the Katy area and around the world. Both Parkway Fellowship locations partner with local charities. These include Family Hope, Katy Christian Ministries, and the Houston Food Bank. They feed 550 families monthly through their Second Saturday food distribution event.
Terry McGuire is the connections pastor at the Katy location. He invites anyone wishing to participate in this event to come serve families experiencing food insecurity. Just show up on the second Saturday of each month to join in this great cause.

Parkway Fellowship’s church locations also host weekly small groups on-site. These are mostly for kids and students on Wednesday evenings. You can find them at both Katy and Richmond locations. In addition to church-related activities, each location also hosts a variety of community events throughout the year.
These events include Vacation Bible School, Chamber of Commerce member meetings, monthly Tuesday night prayer, food pantry distribution, single mom and widows service projects, Bible studies, and movie nights.
Parkway Fellowship is a purpose-driven church. It focuses on reaching lost people for Christ. It also helps them grow to maturity. Services are held on Sundays at the Westpark Location at 9:00, 10:15, and 11:30 AM. Services at the Morton Location are at 9:30 and 11:00 AM. Spanish translation is offered at 9:00 AM at the Westpark Location.
Parkway Fellowship celebrated 20 years of service to Fort Bend, West Harris and Waller County. The celebration included free coffee, donuts and birthday cake for attendees. There were also separate services uniquely designed for students and kids.
