From the ticket center, you can take a shuttle to the temple entrance for a small fee. The shuttle tickets are available right next to the temple ticket counters. It is a small train that can carry up to 25-30 people at a time and costs 5 EGP per person for a round trip. But you can also walk.
Walking gives you a better view. Look up at the cliff. There are several tombs in it but they are not open to the public. You will get a good view of the temple. As you approach the temple, imagine the landscape from thousands of years ago.
