From humble beginnings in a farming community, Park Memorial Baptist Church has blossomed into a beacon of faith in Spring. In 1925, the seeds of faith were sown in Aldine. A small wooden structure, donated by J.B. Williams, served as a memorial to his wife and a mission under Woodland Baptist Church. This marked the beginning of what would later become Park Memorial Baptist Church. Just a few years later, in 1931, Park Memorial Baptist Church officially came into existence with 25 devoted members. They worshipped in that same unassuming wooden building. The church grew. In 1951, they constructed their first permanent structure dedicated to Sunday School. A new Worship Center followed in 1953. Another education building was added in 1959. Park Memorial Baptist Church continued to flourish. In 1975, a preschool building was dedicated. The Sloan Family Life Center was then constructed. By 1985, most of the construction on Airline Drive was finished. The church continued to expand its reach. In 2003, Park Memorial Baptist Church embarked on a new chapter. It relocated to its current location at 22333 Kuykendahl in Spring. Today, Park Memorial Baptist Church stands as a testament to the enduring power of faith. It serves a vibrant community. It continues to write its story of faith and service.
