Was this once a place of industry? Here at Parco Milani, it’s hard to imagine the clatter of machinery and the bustle of workers. Yet, this tranquil park, inaugurated in 2005, stands on the grounds of the historic “Giovanni Milani e Nipoti” company. This company was a powerhouse in the textile industry until the 1960s. Look around. Can you still sense the echoes of that era? The park’s entrance welcomes you with a grand archway. It’s flanked by sturdy Doric columns, a reminder of a time when even industry embraced a touch of grandeur. Beside it, a towering chimney stands as a proud sentinel. This is a remnant of the old factory, a memory etched against the sky. And there, near the tranquil pond, another chimney keeps it company. These industrial relics, now softened by nature’s embrace, whisper stories of Parco Milani’s past.
