Initially, Mia Riddez gained recognition as an actress. She appeared in TV series like Les Filles d’Ève. Rue des Pignons was another. These were written by her husband Louis Morrisset. When illness prevented Louis from continuing Rue des Pignons, Mia stepped in. She took over the writing. This marked the beginning of her writing career. It became more significant than her acting.
Rue des Pignons held its place on television for 11 years. Later, Mia Riddez also created Terre humaine and Le Grand Remous.
