It is a health center and a community hub for Vietnamese people in the Rhein-Main area. Monks and nuns here follow the Vietnamese Lin Chi tradition.
Thich Thien Son, an abbot and Zen master founded this house in 2002. He has been leading it ever since. The religious community maintains the house. They also organize all activities and events here. Many Vietnamese and German friends support the Pagode Phat Hue.
