Masses began in an automobile showroom then moved to a tent and a Quonset hut. Imagine the dedication of those early parishioners. Construction on the present church began in 1959. It was completed in 1961. The church celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2011. That marked 50 years since the completion of this very building. Ten years later in 2017 they celebrated the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal. The events of the church history are not just dates. They represent a community’s unwavering devotion.

Inside Our Lady of Fatima Church a mosaic depicts Our Lady of Fatima’s apparition. The three children Lucia Jacinta and Francisco are also shown. This is the backdrop for the altar. Father Eugene F Donnelly Corner is named after a priest who served the parish for 42 years. The street co-naming took place on September 21 2013.
