What if I told you that a seed of faith, planted with love and nurtured with dedication, blossomed into a haven of education and spiritual growth right here at One Way Ministries? One Way Ministries International isn’t just a church. It’s a beacon of hope. It is a testament to the power of community, education, and unwavering faith.
Pastor Langton Gatsi heads One Way Ministries International. His vision was to create a space where children could thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. This vision came to life through One Way School. Greg and Sophie, two teachers from London, played a crucial role in bringing this vision to fruition. They visited Zimbabwe in 2011 and were inspired by the church’s desire to offer education to the local community.
In January 2012, Greg and Sophie decided to support the church. They helped to establish One Way School. By August 2012, they had arrived in Mabelreign, Zimbabwe ready to start. One Way Pre School opened in January 2013. It had just 19 children. By July 2015, it had grown into One Way School, with classes from Nursery to Grade 2. More than 90 children were registered. The school continued to expand. It added two more classrooms to extend to Grade 4 in January 2016.
One Way School is more than just a school. It is a place where children are nurtured spiritually. It is a place where they are taught to be self-sufficient. The school’s curriculum focuses on equipping learners with communication skills. It provides skills needed for the outside world. They learn art and the opportunities emerging in science and technology. One Way School uses recognized examination boards like Cambridge and ZIMSEC. This ensures that learners receive certificates recognized worldwide.
The dedicated staff at One Way School mentor learners. They prepare them for success. The community, parents, and stakeholders recognize the school’s excellence. One Way School fosters a supportive Christian environment. Here impossibilities are turned into possibilities. The school believes that everything has a solution. It teaches students to be calculative through its math programs.
One Way Ministries International extends its reach beyond education. The ministry organizes events. These events include combined youths braais, couples lunches, and men’s braais. These events promote community and fellowship. Members are also encouraged to participate in the Nehemiah Prayer watch program. One Way Ministries International is headquartered in Harare. It continues to impact the community through its various initiatives. It is dedicated to education, spiritual growth, and community development.
