Following Reverend Dredd’s passing in 1980, his nephew, Ulysses Dredd Sr., took up the mantle of leadership. He served as pastor until June 2006, guiding the church through a period of growth and spiritual development. Remarkably, even without a pastor for two years, the Olive Branch Baptist Church remained strong, a testament to the unwavering faith of its congregation. Then, in June 2008, Elder Robert E. Green Sr. became the pastor, breathing new life into the church. He focused on spiritual growth, encouraging members to embrace their gifts and share them with the world. Pastor Green’s leadership fostered a dynamic worship experience, attracting both long-time members and newcomers seeking a deeper connection with their faith. The Olive Branch Baptist Church isn’t just a place of Sunday service.
