Later, the Simon Perry Building appeared in the 1990s. With this new construction, this became The Old Civil Engineering Laboratories. The name reflects its history.
The Old Civil Engineering Building comprises a ground and upper floor. A central staircase connects them. Sadly, there is no lift. Today, only the ground floor is easily accessible.
The ground floor housed cell offices. It also held Soil Mechanics and Environmental Engineering Laboratories. Up on the upper level, one could find CAD and Hydraulics Laboratories. More cell offices and a toilet facility were also on this floor.
