The need for a southeast campus, more accessible to the denser populations, became clear early on. By 1973, classes were being held in renovated buildings in Royal Oak. The current Oakland Community College – Royal Oak Campus building replaced these earlier locations. This single, large structure, nestled among the bustling streets of downtown Royal Oak, provides a vibrant hub for learning.
