“A new city,” whispered the wind, rustling through the trees of Parque Sarmiento. “That’s what they called it, you know.” Right here in Nueva Córdoba, where we stand today, a vision took shape. Great European-style mansions and petite palaces sprang up along Avenida Argentina, today known as Hipólito Yrigoyen Avenue. These architectural marvels, like the Palacio Ferreyra, which now houses the Evita Museum, and the Palacio Dionisi, still stand as testaments to that bygone era.
